It solves this awkward problem I kept running into: you’re deep in a grilling session, your context window is filling up, and suddenly you need to pivot and prototype something or fix a bug. You &lt;em&gt;could&lt;/em&gt; squeeze that work into your remaining tokens, but it feels cramped and wrong.&lt;/p&gt;

Fix your thing. Then hand back with what you learned. It’s like having a genuinely autonomous sub-agent, except you stay in control the whole time.&lt;/p&gt;

It’s for those moments when you have an unknown unknown - something you can only figure out by building it. For UI work, it generates radically different variations and lets you mix and match the best bits. For state machines and business logic? Same idea, but it builds an interactive terminal app instead. The trick is getting a human in the loop to apply taste, because AI often can’t see what it’s building.&lt;/p&gt;
